Experiment results
I am testing the amount of phosphorus in the Macatawa river and seeing if the levels could change
due to the change in temperature as the year progresses. This week the water temperature was
4 degrees Celsius(40 degrees Fahrenheit). I tested the water three times for Phosphorus and
each test showed a high level of Phosphorus, roughly 3-4 ppm. Compared to my previous test,
these samples looked lighter.

Observations:
Saw: A group of turkeys, leaves on the ground, bare trees except for the willows, animal poop, mud, leaves in the river, the oily sheen by the river bank (this time I poked at it and it did not go immediately back together so that means it is from a natural source like the breakdown of organic material)
Heard: A group of birds were being very loud for around a minute across the river
Changes: There were less leaves on the ground because of wind most likely but more willow trees on the ground than last time. The riverbank was a lower than last time and overall less muddy/slippery.
